Laser hair removal packages: Which one is right for you?

Laser hair removal is one of those services everyone has questions about before they book: how many sessions do I actually need, what's the difference between a 4-pack and an 8-pack, and how do I know I'm getting the right one for my body and my budget?

We built our laser packages to take the guesswork out of that decision. Here's how laser works at Fuzz, what a session actually looks like, and how to choose the package that fits where you're starting from.

How Laser Hair removal works at Fuzz

Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy to target the pigment inside each hair follicle. That energy heats the follicle and damages its ability to produce new hair, so over time, regrowth slows down and becomes finer and sparser.

At Fuzz, treatments are performed by certified Fuzzologists using the Lutronic Clarity II, a dual-wavelength laser system built for precision and comfort:

• Two wavelengths, Alexandrite and Nd:YAG, allow your Fuzzologist to safely and effectively treat a wide range of skin tones and hair types.

• Integrated cryogen cooling cools the skin before and during treatment, so sessions stay comfortable while the laser does its work.

Every service also uses our Fuzz Line to take care of your skin along the way. We start with Fuzz Oil to prep the skin before treatment, and finish with Fuzz Lotion after. Both are 100% natural and made in Canada. We don't reach for whatever's cheapest. We use what works, and what feels good on your skin.

What to expect from a session

A laser session is quick and easy to fit into your week. Most sessions run 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area you're treating.

For your first visit, we'll start with a free consultation. Your Fuzzologist will look at your skin and hair type, walk through your goals, and help you decide whether laser is the right fit. It's best to come to this appointment with the hair untouched, so we can see exactly what we're working with. For every reservation after that, arrive with the treatment area shaved. This lets the laser target the follicle directly, without hair on the surface getting in the way.

Most people schedule treatments every 6 to 8 weeks. That spacing matters: hair grows in cycles, and this timing lets us catch it at the stage where laser works best. Your Fuzzologist will build a schedule around your treatment area and how your hair grows, since everybody's timeline looks a little different. Many clients see meaningful reduction, up to 80%, within 4 to 6 sessions.

We treat nearly every area, including legs, arms, underarms, chest, back, face, and bikini (or Zillian, as we call it around here).

Laser Hair Removal packages: Which one is right for you

Once you know laser is the right call, the next question is how many sessions to book. Here's how our packages break down.

Full Body Bundles

Pick 3 pre-set essentials, or build your own with 5 areas of your choice, at a bundle price.

Perfect for: clients who want several areas done in one visit and want to maximize results in less time, at the best overall price.

4-Pack — 20% Off

A shorter package designed to maintain results you've already built.

Perfect for: clients who've done laser before and want to keep their results going, and areas with finer or less dense hair growth that don't need as many sessions.

6-Pack — 25% Off

Our most popular starting point, and the one most Fuzzologists recommend for a first laser package.

Perfect for: clients who are new to laser with hair and skin type well suited to treatment, and anyone who wants a strong foundation before deciding if more sessions are needed.

8-Pack — 25% Off

Our most comprehensive package, built for maximum hair reduction over time.

Perfect for: clients with dense or persistent hair growth, areas with hormonally influenced regrowth, or hair and skin types that respond better to lower-intensity sessions spread across more visits.

Still not sure which one fits?

That's exactly what your free consultation is for. Your Fuzzologist will look at your hair density, skin tone, and treatment area, and recommend the package that gets you the results you're after, without paying for more sessions than you need.

Is Laser Hair Removal right for you?

Laser hair removal is safe and effective for a wide range of skin tones and hair types when it's done by trained professionals, which is exactly what you get with every Fuzzologist. That said, a few things are worth flagging at your consultation so we can build the right plan together:

  • Pregnancy

  • Taking Accutane® within the past 6 months

  • Medications that may cause photosensitivity

  • Recent sun exposure or self-tanning products

  • Retinol products or chemical peels

None of these means laser is off the table for good. Your consultation is where we figure out timing and whether laser is the right choice for you right now.

Laser Hair Removal FAQ

How does laser hair removal work?

It uses concentrated light energy to target pigment in the hair follicle. That energy heats and damages the follicle, which reduces its ability to grow new hair over time.

Is laser hair removal safe?

Yes. At Fuzz, every treatment is performed by a certified Fuzzologist using Health Canada-approved technology suitable for a wide range of skin tones.

How long does a session last?

Typically 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area.

How long should I wait between treatments?

Most people book every 6 to 8 weeks, which lines up with the hair's growth cycle. Your Fuzzologist will tailor this to your treatment area and hair growth.

Should I shave before my appointment?

For your first consultation, leave the hair untouched so we can assess it properly. For every visit after that, arrive shaved so the laser can target the follicle directly.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

It depends on your hair and skin type, but many clients see up to 80% reduction within 4 to 6 sessions. This is exactly why the consultation matters: it's how we set expectations that match your body.
